This Saturday, Foothill High will lead the way as high school and middle school bands march down Main Street beginning at 8:30 a.m. in the 37th annual Band Review. The 2011 Grand Marshal will be School Board President Valerie Arkin.

The parade is scheduled to run until approximately 12:30, and concert competition at Amador Valley High School will take place from 7:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Parade and concert awards are at 3 p.m. at Foothill High School. The Field Show will be held at Foothill from 4-10 p.m., with awards beginning at 10:15 p.m. General admission is $10.

Tickets and programs will be for sale on Main Street and at Amador Valley High School during the parade, as well as at Foothill High. There will also be event pins, souvenirs and food vendors at the event, which is the major fundraiser for Foothill. More than 50 high schools take place in the parade, concert and field show competitions.

Foothill will feature its marching band, color guard, two jazz bands, winter percussion and guard, wind ensemble, symphonic band and concert band. In the past 32 years, the Foothill High School Marching Band has won nearly 1,000 Sweepstakes awards and first place trophies, and has represented Northern California five times in the Pasadena Tournament of Roses parade.

PUSD Summer School 2010

Warning: All classes are subject to change. For classes that are maintained, there will need to be sufficient enrollment for each class by the posted deadline. Details and course descriptions can be found in brochures on the PUSD Summer School registration page. 

Registration deadline is now being extended to Friday, May 14.

All enrichment classes will be fee based this year. In addition, we will also be requesting a donation for all academic support and high school classes.

SCHEDULE

All classes will be held Monday – Thursday with no classes on Fridays, with the following exception*

*Summer School is Monday – Thursday with the exception of the week of July 4. 

*Monday July 5 will be a holiday for all students and staff. Schools will be closed on that day.

Summer School will resume on Tuesday, July 6, with classes being held for the remainder of that week, including, Friday, July 9.
